Double-Sided Printing Instructions
Check the "Sort pages for double-sided printing" option to download a file containing weekly planner pages for one month or one year sorted for back-to-back printing.
- Before printing
- The instructions below are intended as a general-purpose guide for modern inkjet and laser printers. If you have an older model printer, or one that grabs extra sheets while printing, these instructions may not work for you without improvisation. In this case, you are encouraged to print only one month at a time.
- 1. Print the front pages
- With your Microsoft Excel planner file open, you will see either 6 weeks of tabs (1 month), or up to 54 weeks of tabs (1 year). Select the front pages by selecting the first half of tabs. You can do this by clicking the first tab, holding down the SHIFT button, then clicking the 3rd tab (if you're printing 1 month) or the 27th tab (if printing a full year). Click File->Print to open the Print dialog. Set 'page range' to "All", set 'print what' to "Active sheet(s)", and click OK to print.
- 2. Print the back pages
- When the front pages have printed, insert the stack into your printer so that the backs will be printed. In Excel, select the second half of tabs (Wk2 through Wk54, for example). Select the Wk2 tab, hold the SHIFT button down, then select the Wk54 tab. From the Print dialog, set 'page range' to "All", set 'print what' to "Active sheet(s)", and click OK to print.
- 3. Bind and your weekly planner is ready to use!
- Make sure your stack is in the correct order. If you have the materials and tools for binding, you can do it yourself, or bring it to your local printer for finishing.
